Tissot Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Tissot SA (French pronunciation: [ti'so]) is a Swiss luxury watchmaker. The company was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son, Charles-Émile Tissot, in 1853. Since 1983, Tissot SA has been a subsidiary of the Swiss Swatch Group.Tissot is not associated with another Swiss watchmaking firm, Mathey-Tissot.

N. Mcconnell says, "Unfortunately just after it was out of warranty the battery went. I put it in through my local Tissot dealer for a service which they quoted as £75. Once Tissot got it they said it needed a complete service which costs £185. Anyone thinking of getting one, please consider carefully how much you're willing to pay to have a nice watch. Shelling out £500-600 on a watch means you expect quality and good customer service, not having to spend another £200 on it just a couple of years later."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Where do I even begin: Horrible support from Miami offices Corporate managers and the individual who looks over the retail stores is not experienced to be running these stores. If you are not a favorite or drinking buddies you will loose your job or be targeted. People in corporate Miami are very cliquey. You are working very hard and beyond what you are compensated. No great perks for discount unless you buy the discounted 2nd hand items. I won’t even get into the horrible benefits. AT WILL means if they dont like you, you’re fired. Not a place for growth or a positive working environment. You will forever be thinking you will get fired for doing your job. This is the USA Market only. I’ve heard the company is held to a higher caliber in Europe and Asia."

Former Employee - Regional Account Manager says

"Buddy system. They target National Accounts and do little to help Independent Jewelers."

Sandra Lauk says

"The worst watch I ever bought. Paid 400 euro for automatic got out only to 2years then got prise for repair 660euro in Dublin finally got cheaper to send to factory for 200it last 7month and stopped completely. Its in repair again. So it's more time in repair than on my wrist. Such a disappointment makes me sick given them over 600 euro. But 3people I talked out for buying the tissot. Don't waist your money. Its useless."

Eric Smith says

"Automatic Tissot watch stopped working two weeks after purchase. Crown stopped winding watch and wearing or shaking it doesn’t work. My cheaper seikos have worked well for years. Had to return watch and pay shipping. What a waste of time. I’ll never buy another Tissot."

Fernando Renteria says

"I boght a watch from their website because on the pictures looks beautiful, but when I got the watch it really looks completely different. I send the watch back for a refund and and unset they said that the watch was scratch when the watch was in perfect conditions. it was a just an excuse for not to refund me my money. customer service is horrible, no body knows not even their policy. every time I was calling for the status of my refund every customer service representative was telling a different thing. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR WEBSITE. they are to many choices out there."

Andra Negoescu says

"Such a bad experience with their customer service. The phone numbers don't work. You try to call, it rings and the call just ends suddenly. I had endless attempts just to get to talk to someone and when I had the right number and it finally rang, the right person was never there only the colleague who culdn't help me. I had to call 4-5 different numbers, multiple times because most of the times the call was just ending, because it was always the number from the wrong department and some of them don't know anything at all, they can't help with return or online purchases and they said that I have to call someone else. Whatever I was asking, they couldn't help and I had to call a different number. Eventually after a Week of daily calls I got to talk to someone and 'resolve' the problem. Well, they didn't solve it. I wanted to change bank accounts because the one I used to pay was going close and they transfered the money directly into the old bank account. Luckily the bank account was still open when they transferred the money and I have also seen it on time, but if it was closed at the time they returned the money I would have lost a few hundreds and I would have had no watch. Regarding the quality of the watch, to me it seemed good but I have never worn it so I can't say much about that."
